A little about us.
WHO ARE THE FRIENDS OF MAGDALEN GREEN
The Friends of Magdalen Green is not just a group of residents; it is a collaborative initiative that was granted charitable status (SCO 39603) with the help of many local organisations. This teamwork has resulted in significant improvements at Magdalen Green, including the addition of more benches and tables, as well as the refurbishment of the Roseangle playpark and the bandstand. Our next objective is to address the lack of community facilities in the West End of Dundee.
The Friends of Magdalen Green have a clear vision for the future. Our aims and objectives include promoting the preservation, maintenance, and improvement of Magdalen Green for the public’s benefit. We are also committed to conserving its plant, animal, and bird life, ensuring this unique park is protected for future generations. Additionally, we aim to enhance public education regarding the history and natural heritage of Magdalen Green.
